There are a LOT of mincemeat filling recipes on the internet...Type in Mincemeat filling...the problem is you must give yourself plenty of TIME to make mincemeat.
Another problem I found is that the receipes tend to be for MASS VOLUME, so that you can "can" or freeze the mincemeat...It is a LOT of troulbe to make, so once you get started,(Especially if you have to wiat three weeks!) it is best to make the recipe in volume an store some.
One receipe I found requires a week in the Fridge to develop the mincemeat....another, made with 21/2 cups brandy requires three weeks in a cool, dark.
